Here is a list of some of the music I listened to while writing Rebirth, and I will continue to update this page as I move through the series, and add relevant additions.

Virgin Queen Soundtrack - for the BBC production staring Anne Marie Macduff as Elizabeth

specifically: The Virgin Queen feat. The Mediaeval Baebes, La Volta, Remember Me, Say Its Not So feat. The Mediaeval Baebes and Faithful Hearts.

Saviour by Lights (acoustic) - at first it was the original album version, but after I heard the acoustic that changed. This song really resonated with me for Katrine

Snow White Queen By Evanescence

Salva Nos by the Mediaeval Baebes - you can put on almost every album they have and it works with the The Afflicted series. With Book 2, I have more specific songs for characters

I thought I'd add this section to the soundtrack page so you can get a sense of what I'm listening to right now. This bit will constantly evolve, and I'm sure I'll be adding and removing things as I work.

You'll also notice some movie songs and whole movie soundtracks - when I fall in love with a movie I tend to look at the music they used as a way to set the atmosphere and I gravitate to it.

Strip Me and Neon Lights by Natasha Bedingfeld - I love Neon Lights! Such a happy song, automatically transports me to a place where people are dancing and happy

Someone Like You and Set Fire to the Rain by Adele - I listened to this cd a lot when working on Book 2 and Book 3. Someone Like You is a huge inspiration

Sing for Me, Blank Page and Just a Fool by Christina Aguilera - especially Sing for Me. Absolutely epic.

Bluebird and Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri - lovesong is an amazing album. Most people know Christina Perri from her song on the Twilight Breaking Dawn soundtrack (same one as It Will Rain by Bruno Mars), but her album is fantastic 

Keep Me High by Adaline - since this song was featured on the tv show Lost Girl I have not been able to get it out of my head. I am listening to her album Modern Romantics as I write this. 

The A Team by Ed Sheeran - his whole album + is fantastic. Totally worth the listen.
